Andulin the Wanderer

Andulin the Wanderer

"You know, dear friend, when I was just little boy, 250 years ago, I used to look after the goats and read grandma stories from the old, leathery books of hers. It used to take hours and hours to drive the goats up the hills to the flowery, tasty meadows where they loved it so much. It was up there, during a stormy night, where I saw my first fairy. Did I know then what it meant for the course of my life to meet such a beautiful creature of might and magic? No. But fate, it seems, has a will of its own - and for you, my dear friend, I feel fate has a very special plan."

I painted Andulin back in 2023 as a study about triads. I always like this painting, but I underestimated the effect the painting had on other people. Whenever I'm at a convention, Andulin the Wanderer is the spectator's darling.
